2005 Art Show Awards

Art House Sweeps Art Show Awards

Every year students of the Art House enter the Youth Impressions Juried Art Show. This gives children the opportunity to have their work displayed and maybe win an award. The children of the Art House always work very hard in anticipation of this show.

The 2005 Youth Impressions statewide juried art show was held from January 8 -21, at the Garvey Center on the campus of Oklahoma Christian University. The show consisted of 473 artworks created by first through twelfth grade students from across the state. 32 awards of excellence were awarded by the juror and an additional 22 special recognition awards were chosen by art patrons. This year, students of the Art House entered 64 two and three dimensional artworks. Six students won awards of excellence, and four students won special recognition awards.
